I trust this message finds you well.
This is a notice to inform you that TGSA will be inviting nominations for positions on its Board of Representatives. The nomination period will begin on Thursday, April 2, 2026, and will end on Friday, April 24, 2026. I, Maureen Ononiwu, will serve as the Chief Returning Officer (CRO).
The positions that will be vacant at the end of this academic year and for which we are seeking nominations are:
Executive Positions
- President
- Treasurer
- VP Communications
College Representatives
- Regis College Rep
- Trinity College Rep
Program Representatives
- DMin Rep
- Master of Arts Rep
- Master of Theology Rep
Non-Voting Officer
- Secretary
All positions are for a two-year term, with responsibilities described in Section D of the TGSA Policies and Procedures, available at: https://tgsa.sa.utoronto.ca/files/2022/04/TGSA-Policies-and-Procedures-2022.pdf
Candidates must be nominated by two peers and be willing to serve. College reps must be registered at the college they represent, and program reps must be enrolled in the corresponding program. Nominees will receive notice of either their acclamation or further election details (if applicable) by email after May 4, 2026.
